We improvise every day in our lives. We have an idea of how our day will plan out when we wake up. However, we do not know exactly what we will say when we start interacting with people we know. This course will teach students how to focus and hone those improvisation skills to be able to think quickly on their feet. Improvisation not only helps teach students how to keep the show going in the theatrical sense (i.e. “the show must go on”), but it enhances their skills in real-world experiences that require quick adaptability to various events. Students will learn the basic rules of improvisation and how to adapt quickly to different situations through fun and structured exercises.
