    Mainstage Series
All Mainstage series productions will take place in the Gyder Theater.

The season kicks off in the heat of summer with a hot musical, GREASE  (7/12/24-7/28/24.) Head back to 1950’s Rydell High with this beloved musical and sing along as the gang experiences the friendships, romances and adventures of high school.

The Broadway classic CATS (9/6/24-9/22/24) is one of the world’s best-known and meow-vellous musicals! The Jellicle Cats come out to play on one special night of the year—the night of the Jellicle Ball. One by one they tell their stories to Old Deuteronomy, their wise and benevolent leader, who must choose one of the Cats to ascend to The Heaviside Layer and be reborn into a whole new Jellicle life. A true musical theatre phenomenon, CATS opened at London’s New London Theatre on May 11, 1981 and ran for a record-setting 21 years. CATS’s London success was nearly matched on Broadway where it ran at the Winter Garden Theatre for just over 18 years.

TheaterWorks invites audiences to a yet-to-be-announced musical. (10/18/23-11/2/23.)

TheaterWorks then rings in the holiday season, with A CHRISTMAS CAROL, (12/6/24-2/22/24) for the most well-known of all Holiday classics and a sure-to-sell-out TheaterWorks family tradition. See the legendary transformation of an old miser taken on a journey of self-redemption, courtesy of several mysterious Christmas apparitions. Cherished characters like Ebenezer Scrooge, Bob Cratchit, and Tiny Tim come to life with the magic only live theatre can create. Spend your holidays experiencing this traditional and magical production that shows us the meaning of Christmas.

OLIVER! (2/7/25-2/23/25) This award-winning musical adaptation of the classic Dickens novel springs to life with some of the most memorable characters and songs ever to grace the stage.
This is a true theatrical, classic masterpiece for the whole family. Oliver! follows the journey of the orphaned boy, Oliver Twist. After escaping from a workhouse and meeting a group of juvenile criminals led by the cunning Fagin, Oliver becomes entangled in a world of theft and mischief. However, his inherent goodness and innocence make him an unlikely protagonist in this dark setting.

THE OLD MAN AND THE OLD MOON (3/28/25-4/13/25) tells the epic tale of an old man who must abandon his duties of filling up the moon with liquid light to cross the seas in search of his missing wife. The Old Man has kept his post as the sole caretaker of the moon for as long as he (or his wife, the Old Woman) can remember. When she is drawn away by a mysterious melody that sparks memories of their shared past, the Old Man must decide between duty (and routine) and love (and adventure). Luckily for audiences everywhere, he chooses the latter, and what follows is an imaginative sea-faring epic, encompassing apocalyptic storms, civil wars, leviathans of the deep, and cantankerous ghosts, as well as the fiercest obstacle of all: change. The New York Times said: “This is a story of time and tides and quests, the sort of fable on which mythologies and religions are founded.”
